What Should Your IDEAL Body Fat Percentage Be???

Weight Loss Tip: Make weight loss fun and not a chore. Some people avoid exercise because they think of it as punishment instead of fun. Getting up and moving more each day provides results just as well as repetitive push-ups, sit-ups and squat-thrusts. Have fun and lose weight by shadow-boxing each time your least favorite contestant on a reality show appears on your television screen. Get in the habit of dancing at certain times of the day. Put on your favorite tunes and groove those pounds and inches off of your body.

  1. great advice. I would love to be sub 10 to be honest but it’s not really practical for most people. around 12 -13 is good for me with a couple of percent off in the summer

  2. I used to really care about how I looked and having some kind of ideal body fat percentage. As I have gotten older and wiser I have come to the realization that strength and performance is so much more satisfying and important. Deadlifting 500lbs. for the first time, competing in a grappling tournament, perfecting my snatch technique, first muscle up, etc. made me feel way, way more accomplished than reaching 10% body fat or having a sculpted physique. And you know what, I have also discovered that it’s far more physically healthy to be more concerned about your performance as well as being much more mentally/emotionally healthy too. This doesnt mean you have to become a fat powerlifter or something. Sure, I gained some fat but not that much and with the increase in performance and health, I have to say it was definitely worth it!
