Weight Loss Tip: If you are trying to lose weight do not make the mistake of believing that fruit juice is a valid substitution for eating fresh fruit. Many fruit juices are made from concentrate so they are loaded with added sugar. If you are going to have juice make sure that it is 100 percent juice that is not from concentrate.

You Have a Right to Know What’s in Your Food.
Vote YES on Prop 37 & SHARE This Video on Social Media
All Proposition 37 does is require clear labels letting consumers know if foods are genetically modified. We already have food labels showing nutrition, allergy information and other facts consumers want to know.
This measure simply adds information telling us if food is produced using genetic engineering, which is when food is modified in a laboratory by adding DNA from other plants, animals, bacteria or viruses.
Much of the World Already Requires Labeling of Genetically Engineered Foods
More than 40 countries with over 40% of the world’s population already label genetically engineered foods, including the entire European Union. Even China labels genetically engineered foods. California should take the lead on this important issue in the United States. What do these countries know that we don’t?
A Simple Proposition for California in 2012
The California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act is simple: The initiative would simply require food sold in retail outlets to be labeled if it is produced through genetic engineering.
Just Like Nutrition Facts
We didn’t use to label foods with calorie or nutritional value information, but we do now, and most consumers use this information every day. The California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act simply requires food producers to also label food that contains genetically engineered ingredients.
No Cost to Consumers or Food Producers
The California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act will have no cost impact on consumers or food producers. It simply adds a label to genetically engineered food. Companies change their labeling all the time. In a recent poll, 93% of Californians said they would vote for Mandatory Labeling of Genetically Engineered Foods! If this initiative passes, it will be a huge step towards the transparency we deserve. Once people KNOW what is in their food, they can make the informed choice to avoid the potential health risks of GMOs until more research on their long-term effects can be done.

Shout out to All Californians…I am proud of you!!…help the rest of us
in other states in the USA, by setting precedence and vote Yes on 37!
i live in PA, and my “awake’ friends and I are spreading awareness… Its
important for every states’ rights.. YES!
We also can vote with our $ and if all 97% of us buy organic then monsanto
will be no more…We do know that 80% of all fast foods are GMO’s
based…..so if Prop 37 fails we still have us ( 97% of us.) Smiles
I agree you have a right to know, thats why you should ask. If the company
doesnt willfully provide this information then you also have a RIGHT to not
buy the product. In a 1 on 1 transaction you could not FORCE me to tell you
what was in the product. You could try and persuade me to by saying if I
didn’t you wouldn’t buy my product, then it would be my CHOICE. I am a
vegan that believes in liberty & strives to eat organic, but knowing whats
in my food is my responsibility, not the governments.
id fuck the shit outta joy houston, yes on 37!
Standing up for Monsanto, good for you. I mean…. why should you know what
is in your food ? You can trust the big food and pesticide producers who
you are standing alongside cant you? They know whats best for you.
Look up “Myths and Truths” about GMO’s. It’s an evidence based examination
of the claims put out by the monster industries. Also check out “Failure to
Yield”. This is a mega industry that now has its greedy paws in 3rd world
countries and it has the means to blind the first world.
I cannot believe anyone would say such a thing! It is definitely NOT a
witch hunt. The industry giants would have us all beleiving that their
products are nutritional and safe, but this is just not the case. GMO’s are
not even producing the yields they promised. It is absolutely failed
science and we need to counter it ASAP.
gosh i feel so strongly about voting yes to proposition 37!!!! i have
recently watched a couple shows about this, and now i am watching out for
gmo products. most of the gmo products come from Monsanto, a huge
corporation that produces corn, soy, and other crops for many well known
brands. if you want to know about what brands to watch out for, look on
pinterest for monsanto products. i vote YES on prop. 37
They fund millions of dollars to my college annually, so I’d rather they
just stop using GE food rather than going out of business.
VOTE YES!
its funny how organic companies are supporting 37 and not organic companies
that use chemicals and other addicting stuff on their products are going
againts it .. they dont want there lil secret about using harmful chemicals
on there products hahaha funny …BY The way Their videos dont make sence
hahaha lies could be seen from miles away ……. hahaha
Great video. Thanks 🙂 I agree with another person’s statement. Why are
comments banned/not allowed on the say no to prop 37? They don’t want the
truth! Too bad this is not a national campaign. I would vote yes on prop 37
if we had the option in Florida.
I voted yes and convinced my Granparents, and my Fiance and her family will
follow suit as well. Go organics! :D
Keep in mind that the very same people who support GMO’s INSIST on feeding
ORGANIC foods to themselves AND their families! Vote yes on proposition 37,
and put these criminals in their place!
don’t get distracted by a puppet election, VOTE YES 37 if you’re tired of
mon-satan destroying life everywhere…. GMO kills natural gut flora and
changes your DNA(and it ain’t pretty), it’s our right to know what’s in our
food! get these corporate vampires off this planet! YES 37, LABEL IT
even for those not voting cause our pres choices are fixed, go vote Y E S
on prop 37!!!!! (that’s the bigger picture they hope you over-look), this
37 is bigger than the puppet election!
for obvious reason, “no on 37” campaign dont allow viewers to comment on
their videos. it figures, they dont want people like me to bash their
videos. i will pledge to vote yes on 37
Several sites that have articles up also have NO comments.. I just noticed
that. Chalk up another win for the elites who monopolize our food supply
and taint it with who the hell knows what! This is a BIG deal!
Because your comments are soooo clever and soooo interesting.
And some “yes on 37” video “moderator” suppressed my comments and BANNED
ME. Please, explain why.
“even if you dont have a problem with gmo’s you should want this passed”
No, that utter nonsense. If you have no problem with GMO then you should
not insist on anti-scientific labeling. You are stupid.
Actually, NO. Mandating labeling is unconstitutional. Moron.
Note that your comments are not being banned here, even though they have
consistently included low brow name calling and no room for any other
opinions that your own. WE BELIEVE IN TRANSPARENCY. That is why we want
labels- so EVERYONE can decide on their own.
And you comments have consistently included room for any other opinions?
LOL
“That is why we want labels- so EVERYONE can decide on their own.” How
would you decide based just on GM/non-GM? How is a GM crop fundamentally
different? Why do you NOT require labeling of the exact variety of every
plant? How is “GM” inherently dangerous?
Still shaking my head that Prop 37 didn’t pass….why wouldn’t you want to
know if what you’re eating is GMO or not?
