  4. Good informative video. But make sure to say “net carbs” Carbs minus Fiber = the net carb number you can eat.

  5. Where is your research? There is new study that shows you can have 40 – 50 carbs a day, and still be in ketosis. Full fat cheeses are a great source of fat as well, almost 1 carb for a good amount(Cheddar cheese for example). Nuts, hazelnuts, pecans? Dairy, full fat milk, fat cottage cheese, fat cream cheese e . t.c.

  6. disagree on the Carb refeed every 14 days. For someone who has not been in ketosis before, carb refeed should be every 60 days. also, disagree that this can be done for 3 months total and then go back to carbs.. you can keep keto cycle for the rest of your life with a carb refeed every 2 weeks AFTER you reached your goal.

    1. I am a pure vegetarian and its not super difficult its just monotonous.
    2. Cheese = 1.5 carbs per 100 grams
    3. Paneer = 2 carbs per 100 grams
    4. Refeed days shouldn’t be within first 30 days atleast. You will end up kicking your body out of Ketosis.

  8. I’m on a keto but I’m having channa and everything else is boiled chicken and boiled veggies but I have 2 scoops of penut butter daily

  9. @BeerBiceps Keto diet is not great thing for bodybuilding or people who enjoy high intensity exercise. Body even eat out it’s own muscles in long run. Body looses glycogen and water at first which gives a false belief of weight loss. Now well build bodybuilder do such diets prior to contest “for a WEEK or 2”, they just to get more definition after loosing water and so to score more points. But when someone goes for such kind of diet for long he/she also looses metabolism and so much. Ultimate you may see yourself to loose 5-10 kg in a month or 2 but as soon as you will get back to your normal diet body will restore water and glycogen back to cells and you will get back almost 70% or total lost weight back. But the biggest drawback this kind of diet takes away the energy from you, you become less efficient and fit which again should be a primary goal of a fitness program (rather than just looking good, it should about feeling good). My advise to people will be do strength training + little cardio + slight calorie deficit ~500kcal and have a balanced diet like 40-40-20 (protein – carb – fat) with necessary macro nutrients. Feel free to have more carbs you workout more intense. And just have patience because not me but all the major research paper says if you are loosing more than 2 ponds (a kilo) in a week, you are not doing it in right way.

    And not to offend anyone but be careful out here on internet, most of them are preaching just bro-science ( which is not any science but opinions & myths, cuz noone wants to read complicated biochemistry) and endorsing supplement products. I would rather suggest follow people who have real degree of dietetics or physiology.
