About a month ago or so, I decided to check out Costco Wholesale Supermarket and I was shocked at all the organic, non-GMO, vegan, whole plant food I was able to find. There was produce, frozen vegetables and fruits, dried fruit, spreads like hummus, jelly, and guacamole, veggie juices, coconut water, cereals, plant milks, pasta, rice, soups, and so much more! Costco is great because not only can you find all these awesome organic, non-GMO, vegan food, but you also save a lot of money by buying food in bulk!
When I was a kid, we would shop at Costco but we didn’t buy what you saw in this video; we bought A LOT of junk food such as meat, dairy, cheese puffs, chips, candy, and chocolates. I am amazed how much a huge wholesaler has transformed in the past decade into a giant health promoting supermarket. Don’t get me wrong, there is still plenty of junk food in Costco. Always read the food labels and the ingredients list for packages as they still may contain animal-derived products such as eggs, dairy, honey, gelatin, etc. Don’t be fooled by the front cover. Anyway, here are a few items I found at Costco that were plant-based. Enjoy!
