Weight Loss Tip: If you eat meats, choose lean meats over fatty meats. Fatty meats have higher calories from fat, which make them harder to turn into proteins. Also, be sure to make meat not the major component of a meal as it has higher calories than most fruits, veggies and complex carbohydrates.

  2. Im confused as to how that could give an accurate reading. Im naturally slim on top but carry a lot of my fat on my hips and thighs, why don’t you measure this area when you calculate the body fat percentage? Thanks Dana.

  3. Really informative video. Tracking your body fat is important because tracking your progress can be a great motivator.

  4. This is just a 4 point reading. You can search online for 6 or 8 point readings to measure lower body as well. This is more of the standard one. Fat callipers do take very accurate readings though. And they are very inexpensive.

  5. Staying active is great. Just try to be aware of eating fresh foods. Eat your fruits and veggies for snacks. Stay away from chips and cookies. Also try to eat at home and prepare your own meals rather than eating fast food or at a Resturaunt.

  6. Hi there! I’m a college student (18 y/o) and I have a busy schedule. Do you have any suggestion on how often I could workout using your routines?

  7. Try to workout 4-6 times a week anywhere from 15-50 minutes. I also suggest alternating conditioning/toning workout with cardio workouts. Anything is better than nothing. And if you can’t workout, then go for a power walk, or bike ride to class to get a quick cardio in. 🙂

  8. Hi i would like to ask u if u could recommend me any workouts abt losing flabby arms? you see my lower body are fine but the problem is my arms and adding onto tat my chest area is too wide i can’t wear dresses as i would look like a wrestler in it please help ):
