Dr. Berg talks about how to lose belly fat and weight loss. Fat burning is a big problem because of so many myths and misconceptions about belly fat burn. There are two major fuel sources that the body uses – stored sugar and fat. The Fat burning hormones trigger the fat in the body which is then absorbed by the fat enzymes and release ketones (which is an efficient source of energy). Fat making hormones trigger the storage of sugar and convert sugar into fat. Most people are burning sugar which then converts to glucose and not burning fat.

In the next part of the video, Dr. Berg discusses about the single most important factor that determines whether a person burn belly fat or sugar. Insulin (hormone) is the single control factor. Insulin even in a smaller amount can stop burn belly fat. Sugar (or Insulin) has to be zero in order to burn fat fast. Ketosis is the healthiest fat burning foods for the heart, brain. For Ketosis, Carbohydrates has to be 5-10%, Proteins should be 25%, Fats should be 65-80% in a daily diet.

  1. Can you please do a video on losing Inches on your belly and Wist. I am 33 years old male 5 feet 2 13 Stone I have nearly lost 2 Stone. I know am losing inches.

    But my question is when you lose weight how many times do you lose inches. Because I asked someone that question and she sometimes you lose weight and sometimes it comes from your inches cause when when it comes off your inches the scales stay the same.

  3. Thanks for the info. This has helped me a lot. Cutting of sugar was the toughest but I replace the need for sweetness with raw honey and stevia. Understanding how the body works makes it easier to plan a healthy weight loss diet.

I think I am eating too much fat … but what happens if I’m not getting enough? and I’m talking about I’ve added mayo to things and dip and butter …maybe I shouldn’t be cuz I want to burn my bodies fat … I have the carb thing down… I have the protein thing kinda down …and know there is fat in the protein …but what about added fat and when would I need a keto fat bomb?

  5. The whole “carb” and insulin is garbage. Asian countries consume refined carbs on a daily basis and yet, a lot of them maintain a normal weight.

  6. I am a LCHF eater that eats almost no Grains,… Family Lunch at the Mother In Laws on Saturday & ate Pasta, Bread, Potato & a slice of cake 🙁
    Massive Insulin spike that left me wanting to sleep & I was mad craving more sugar to feed the Insulin,… Also chugged 5 bottles of water to feed an unquenchable thirst.
    Spent the rest of the day craving but trying to not eat more carbs & sugar & I was bloated & farting the whole night 🙁
    Gained almost 3 pounds which is mostly water but I feel like crap !
    Screw that shit,… Not worth it,… I’m taking Pork Chops with Veggies & butter next time 🙂
