Weight Loss Tip: For a healthier diet substitute olive oil for butter. Butter contains high amounts of saturated fats which is associated with high cholesterol and heart disease. Olive oil is much healthier. You can drizzle olive oil, instead of butter, over vegetables. You can also dip your bread, or fry your eggs in olive oil instead of butter.

  6. This show is very informative. The only problem that I have with the show
    is that he said that the belly fat causes diabetes because it inhibits the
    body’s ability to use insulin. However, there is a major difference
    between type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Although extra belly fat makes it
    easier to get type 2 diabetes, it does nothing for type 1 diabetes. I
    would prefer if Dr. Oz made that distinction in his show.

  8. i’m 52 and my waist is 28.5 inches.. hips are 39.5 – 40 inches..that sounds
    like a healthy waist size but my low low abdomen has LOTS of extra fat and
    not the entire belly..according to another one of his episodes thats
    because of stress?
