It is well known that sleeping in a cool environment is better for your overall health, however, in order to keep your body warm enough to get a good night’s sleep, people use blankets, duvets, comforters or whatever other type of covers which bring the body temperature back to its normal value. In order to be burning fat, you would have to lower your body temperature for an extended period of time (i.e. several hours) but I don’t see how you are going to get any sleep when you are shivering with cold all night long.
